Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Harrison!

I’m Harrison, a Chattanooga-based graphic and web designer with a passion for creating designs that are purposeful, fun, and timeless. I've always had a love for quality design of all kinds.

I'm an artist who loves to do business. From flipping antique furniture to afford that couch I always wanted and dabbling in interior design, to developing video game websites for "clients" that were probably too young to be hiring me as a teenager, I've always had a creative mind and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Nostalgia and whimsy, Blended with function and purpose

Topographic is my love for strategic design brought to life in the form of a creative studio. Our mission is truly to be your one-stop shop. I understand that not every project needs to be convoluted and frustrating. Big project or small, I'm ready to tackle your creative projects with fun, accessible, and timeless design.

Let's make something special together!

I like fun design. Legible design. Design with a purpose. Design that will stand the test of time.

Our Process

Done right.. From the start!

From brand sprints to website design, our process consists of several steps to make sure we create a quality project with less revisions. We do things right — from the start. We identify a vision together, execute with deliverables, and assess results.

Brainstorm & Vision

Step 1 is where we gather ideas, identify goals, and discuss the scope of the project. This is the most hands-on part of the project, and it's a lot of fun!

Through discussing your project, bouncing off moodboard ideas, and sharing discoveries, we'll develop an understanding of the business and its customer base.

Design & Revise

Step 2 is where we execute ideas and iterate. This is the step where we take what we've learned from you and your business, and turn it into designs with style.

This is also where you voice your initial opinions by giving feedback through a couple of "revision rounds".

Launch!

Step 3 is where we wrap up the project. Finalize ideas, complete revision rounds, and execute with deliverables.

We'll clean up code, save and label files and their variations, and launch the project!

Frequently Asked Questions

This section is to clear up all of our commonly asked questions. If you're interested in beginning a project or have any other burning questions, say howdy!

How can I get a project started?

You can send a form on the contact page. From there, we can get together — in person, over the phone, via email, whatever way is easiest for you — to discuss the project. After we discuss the scope of the project, I'll send over a worksheet and let the process begin!

Please note that all work, unless otherwise agreed upon, will require a 50% upfront deposit. This shows that we're committed partners with aligned interests.

What services do you offer?

You can see more specifics on the services page! Like I've said all over this website, I take "No Valley Too Low, No Mountain Too High!" very seriously. I know what it's like to have an idea, no matter the size, and not know who to turn to. If I don't offer a particular service you're interested in, I will be happy to refer you to someone great.

I offer a range of design services, including:

Front-end website development (Squarespace and Webflow are my go-tos)
Ecommerce website development (Shopify, baby!)
Brand Design
Merch Design
Design Audits
UI/UX Design

How long will it take?

That honestly depends entirely on the scope of the project! For most graphic design-related services, projects typically take less than a month from when the design process begins. Website designs usually take a little bit longer, especially when they're bigger projects with more pages.

I am currently taking on new projects for Spring 2025.

Do you charge at a fixed rate or hourly?

Most projects start with an agreed-upon base cost determined by the project's estimated scope. If additional work is needed after the original project's goals have been satisfied, additional services are typically charged hourly. Every project is unique; I work with each client to ensure pricing is accurate, reasonable, and transparent throughout their project's life cycle.

Ongoing projects and regular website maintenance are usually billed hourly.

How do you handle feedback in projects?

I value client feedback and see it as an integral part of the design process. I like to incorporate client input at various stages and provide opportunities for revisions to ensure the final design meets your expectations.

The sweet spot is usually with 2 complimentary revision rounds.

If you're all the way down here, you've probably got a project in mind. Let’s be in touch.
